At this stage, with the rapid development of my country's social economy, people's material living standards have been significantly improved, making people more and more sought after for spiritual life and artistic pursuits, and the art market has also grown rapidly. Among the various artworks currently collected by people, jade carvings are especially loved by people. Jade carvings have a profound historical background and rich aesthetic value, and their economic value is also very considerable. This paper traces the historical origin of jade carving art, discusses the development status of jade carving art, reveals the aesthetic value, cultural value, commodity value and social value of jade carving art. Innovation inheritance and development are analyzed.
